Lana
Lana is the heart of Adventure Weddings. She's your photographer, your licensed officiant, and your planner — all in one person. When you elope with us, Lana is the one who designs your ceremony, speaks your vows into existence, and captures every moment on camera.
That combination is rare. In the Sea to Sky corridor, there's nobody else who offers it. And it changes everything about the experience. Instead of coordinating with multiple vendors, you build a relationship with one person who understands your story deeply and brings it to life from every angle.
Originally from New Zealand, Lana started Adventure Weddings in Queenstown in 2022. She brought the same intimate, creative approach to the Sea to Sky when she and Aaron expanded the business to British Columbia.
Her photography style is candid, editorial, and deeply emotional. She captures the real moments — the nervous hands, the quiet tears, the wide grins, the landscape stretching behind you — rather than posed portraits. The result is a set of images that feel like a story, not a catalogue.
Adventure Guide & Local Expert
Aaron
Aaron is your local guide. Born and raised in the Sea to Sky, he knows every trail, summit, viewpoint, and hidden corner of the corridor. He runs adventure guiding operations in Squamish and has spent years exploring the backcountry that most people never see.
For elopements that involve hiking, climbing, or getting to remote locations, Aaron handles the logistics. He scouts locations, creates detailed route plans, checks conditions, and — on adventure elopement days — guides you safely to places that will take your breath away.
He also handles the business side: permits, vendor coordination, tech, and the systems that make your planning process seamless. Between Lana's creative vision and Aaron's operational precision, nothing falls through the cracks.

Why We Do This
Traditional weddings are beautiful. But they're not for everyone. Some couples want their wedding day to be about them — not about seating charts, vendor meals, and timeline spreadsheets. They want to feel present, connected, and free.
An elopement isn't running away from something. It's running toward exactly what matters. A ceremony that's genuinely yours. A place that makes your heart race. A day where the only expectation is to be fully, completely in it.
That's what we build. Every elopement is different because every couple is different. But the feeling is always the same: this is the best day of our lives, and it felt exactly like us.
