Frequently Asked
Can we bring guests?
Absolutely. Our elopement packages are designed for just the two of you, but we welcome small groups. If you are planning to bring family or friends, let us know and we will adjust the experience accordingly.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend 3-6 months for peak season (June-September in BC, November-February in NZ). Off-season elopements can sometimes be arranged on shorter notice.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We always have a backup plan. Lana monitors weather closely in the days leading up to your elopement and will recommend alternatives if conditions change. Some of our most stunning shoots have been in moody weather — rain and mist create atmosphere that sunny days cannot match.
Do we need to get our marriage license before we arrive?
In BC, you apply for your marriage license in person at a Service BC office — same-day, $100 CAD. In New Zealand, you apply online 3+ days before your ceremony. We walk you through everything.
What is the difference between BC and NZ pricing?
Queenstown packages are priced in NZD and may differ from BC pricing due to local vendor costs, helicopter access, and travel logistics. Contact us for NZ-specific pricing.
Can we do a rock climbing elopement if we have never climbed?
Yes! Our climbing elopements include professional guiding by Aaron and can be tailored to complete beginners. We will teach you the basics and take you to a route that matches your comfort level.
